Tasting Notes and France and Burgundy and Variety and Red and pinot noir

A friend popped over for lunch the other day with a fresh loaf of bread and a bottle of this wine in hand. Guests like this are always welcome.
A lively red in colour, but quite light as well. Pretty and petally, pink florals and a touch of animalé. The palate is leaner than the nose would suggest, with beautifully ripe fruit, though nothing jammy, and some firm tannins. Lean and structured, and with time in the glass a pleasant savouriness appeared. Drink over the medium term.

Coincidentally cracked one of these last night - quite firm still but good structure. I’m leaving the rest of mine for at least 3 yrs.

We opened this wine last night in celebration of something not worth mentioning. I was not familiar with it beforehand, but I will be looking for more to stash. Very nice.

I was fortunate to choose this off a long wine list at the Orrery restaurant in London, last week. With the lamb I was having it was superb. I thought it was more full bodied than the review would suggest and held up well against the food. The head waiter thought they had some more reserved but our bottle was the last in the restaurant. We ancouraged him to obtain more if at all possible

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to track down Hudelot-Noëllat wines in Australia. Does anyone know who brings them in or who retails them. My usual list of suspects has come up blank (Randall’s, Cloudwine, Winestar & Strathmore Cellars, D’Or to Door, Ross Duke, Stephen McHenry, Domaine Wine Shippers, The Wine Emporium,Ultimo,East End Cellars, etc).
Cheers,
Tyson.

Tyson,
Randall’s used to bring the wines in, but not anymore.
Cheers,
