Baily & Baily Tickety-Boo Rose 2006 Wednesday, Mar 28 2007
Tasting Notes and Australia and Variety and Rose
A nose that shows aromas of strawberry conserve, cranberries, sticky florals and faint spices. The palate is sweet and lightly bodied, softly crushed strawberries, juicy berry fruit, and a rounded sweetness that flows through the palate and gives the impression of some credible length. My wife says it is lolly water, but not in a bad way I think. Well it didn’t stop her finishing the bottle, which at 12.0% abv was not an onerous task.

I always think of the ex Adelaide retailer Baily & Baily when I hear about this.
It is not connected to Woolies in anyway is it?

Surely those 7 deadly sins “lifestyle” wines circa 2000 take that unwanted prize?

Well it is not ‘our’ wine. I will see if someone from Baily & Baily can contact you..I think this is a BWS/Woolworths brand actually.

I have tried the Two Fat Ladies and the Jump n Jive and they are both fantastic wines and great value. I will be trying the Tickety Boo during the warmer weather. By the way I think the names are inspired and so much more fun than just using Rose.

Discovered the Two Fat Ladies Dolce and I am impressed with this as really good quaffing wine for those who like Italian Lambrusco style.
