Tasting Notes and Italy and Variety and White and other whites
Rory of Enoteca suggested that this would be a lighter alternative for summer drinking. It has straw flavours with a bit of honey. It is just a shame I didn’t get the review up earlier. The acid is soft and it comes across as a lighter, fruit driven style of white that has a hint of rose as well as honey. I tried several unusual dry whites on the day I tried this and although I think it would be a good point of difference at a restaurant it was not my style.

I’ve only had a couple of Gavi’s and they were great, but they were both consumed with food. Not sure I’d run out and buy any unless I was eating something suitably Italian. Not a wine I’ve seen an awful lot of here.

Rovereto is one of Picollo’s crus and better Gavis. I think you’re still generous with your score as the 2005’s are replaced now with much fresher 2007’s. The Rughe 2007 Tardiva is the one to look out for. Ask Rory or Naz.
