Kirrihill Pinot Grigio 2007
By Lincoln
Another wine from Kirrihill’s Single Vineyard Series; in this case the Serendipity vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.
A delicate and reserved nose, hard pears, dusty spices and lemon rind. A tight palate: unripe pears, drying granite, hay and lemon, minerals, really quite lean, finishing with a lemony dryness. Structured and balanced, so it should take a bit of aging, but I am not exactly sure how much. A real food-wine style.
