Kooyong Clonale Chardonnay 2005 Tuesday, Feb 28 2006
Tasting Notes and Australia and Mornington and Variety and White and chardonnay
Pale pale straw. Interesting nose: white peach, musky tropical fruits, a bit of glacé pineapple. The palate is very much fruit driven – peaches and pineapple and lemon, crisp acid to balance, richly textured, has body and balance, dry savoury finish. It has been sitting in our fridge for a week and is still drinking well. This would seem to be an excellent follow-up to the 04 reviewed by Walshie here.
