Tasting Notes and Australia and Mornington and Variety and Red and pinot noir
I like DIAM closures very much but they are very tricky to get back into the bottle. They bulge most uncomfortably in the middle when you try and stuff them back in - a bit like me trying to get into an old pair of pants…
Aromas of cherry, strawberry, soil, mushroom, rose and subtle spicy oak. On the palate medium bodied with cherry, strawberry, a light mineral earthiness and a touch of brown spice. Light fine grained tannin and tangy crisp acidity. Fresh and fine boned rather than fruity. It really flows along the palate in a most lovely gentle manner and finishes long and clean. It’s a really beautiful wine.

HI Gary,
Cracked an 05 of this on Friday night and thought that it had come together very well. Some nice minerality to match teh fruits too. Great QPR in my book.
Cheers,
Kent

Woops,
Meant to comment on the 06 Massale. Cue red faced emoticon!
Back to the 05 Estate - must track some down.
Cheers,
Kent

How is the 2003 of this drinking, I have two bottles of the 2003 I got from melbourne airport after melbourne cup 2005, mistakenly priced at $18.95. Yet to open them, but did try the Massale when in sydney last sept(2005 i think) that was pretty good. This one sounds like the goods as well.
