Meerea Park Shiraz Viognier 2005
By Lincoln

Do I need to bang the Meerea Park drum again? Well I will, one more time, because this really is a super wine. Lovely florals with initially apricots on the forestage; fortunately they moved to the wings in the second Act and stayed there while the fruit took the limelight. Dark fruits, black cherries and plums, earth and liquorice, fine tannins, a wine with some elegance; not flamboyant or boisterous at all. Silky smooth across the palate, it slips down ever so easily. Get some and try it, I doubt you will be disappointed.
