Nugan Estate “Frasca’s Lane Vineyard” Pinot Grigio 2007 Wednesday, May 28 2008
Tasting Notes and Australia and King Valley and Variety and White and pinot gris/grigio
Nice florals and lots of fruits, with pears, red delicious apples, lemons and pear skins. The palate displayed more of a reserved character, with hard pears, lemons and grapefruit, and an underlying brisk acidity and almost a minerally dryness. Good length, and it will come as no surprise to hear that this is very much in the Grigio style and shows very nicely when accompanying some food.

It’s remarkable that they got some fruit in 2007..I thought most of it was frosted…and then smoked!

try their Duriff. Very interesting wine. Quality chardy too.

I have two vintages of it in my little Durif pile..so now it’s getting cooler I’ll have a crack at it.
