Tyrrells Rufus Stone McLaren Vale Shiraz 2005 Monday, Dec 10 2007
Tasting Notes and Australia and McLaren Vale and Variety and Red and shiraz et al
Rufus Stone might be a good name for funky black cop who often finds himself straying over to the wrong side of the law…but he is a man who wants results and knows just how to get them. Yeah!
Aromas of plum, dark fruit, chocolate, black pepper and some menthol. On the palate full bodied with a smooth creamy texture, fine grained tannins and a little warmth. It has flavours of berry, chocolate, spice and leather and a spicy meaty finish. Easy going and drinks really well. I like it.
