Tasting Notes and Australia and Margaret River and Variety and White and chardonnay

Not tasted this one for about a year or so now so I grabbed one from the bat cave. It was served with lobster, crab and prawns and went splendidly well.
Quite yeasty and wild with grapefruit and melon fruit and just a whisper of spicy oak. On the palate very tight and focussed with citrus fruit backed up by savoury lees derived flavours. Plenty of acidity. Good mouthfeel and good length. This wine really is still a baby - leave it alone in the cellar for a few more years if you have any.

..and you are wise Lincoln. Terrific structure. Great value. Considering how awesome the 02 LEAS is I should check out some more WA 02 whites.

GW I have some of the 03 - how would you compare?

Oh. Hmmmm. Now there is a test. Using the powers of my mind I think I remember the 03 being softer , richer and rounder. Very good though. Pretty sure a drink sooner than the 2002. Pretty much same for all the MR chards 2002 v 2003.
